Amazing location and hot and great breakfast with many choices. Location right by the most BEAUTIFUL and scenic beaches, a hill overlooking the Mercury Bay, and Whitianga for the evening meal. Also, on the hillside.

Scenic hilltop location overlooking the bay 🌅, close to town for dinner and stunning beaches nearby 🏖️.

Will be back if in Whitianga. Comfy bed, QUIET atmosphere, lovely views. We appreciated climate control, a coffee maker and ironing facilities in the room.

The Majestic Views: From our private patio at Ohuka Place Homestay, we enjoyed the most breathtaking views of Shakespeare's Cliff and Mercury Bay. It felt like we were dining with Tui and Kereru, surrounded by native trees. The only thing missing was a red carpet and paparazzi to capture the grandeur.

During our recent stay at Ohuka Place Homestay, my partner and I were captivated by the exceptional views and the warm and friendly service provided by Helen and Edwin. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality made us feel instantly at home. The room was wonderfully spacious, boasting a generous, well-appointed bathroom and the comfiest bed we experienced throughout our entire trip. We particularly enjoyed the little outdoor sitting area, where we could relax with a glass of wine and soak in the stunning surroundings. To top it all off, the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this property for anyone visiting the area. We eagerly look forward to returning during our next visit.
